Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Manifesting-IT, LLC ("Manifesting-IT," "we," "our," "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information about you ("User," "you") when you use Manifesting University (the "Platform").

Manifesting University is a membership web platform that combines study content, a community forum, direct messaging, an opt-in matchmaking feature, an AI mentor chatbot, and live video sessions. It is one of several properties operated by Manifesting-IT, LLC alongside the Manifesting Tracker app, a Shopify store, and a blog. Each property may have its own privacy policy.

This Privacy Policy applies when you:

• Create an account and sign in to the Platform;
• Use any feature of the Platform as a registered user;
• Contact us for support or submit a request; and/or
• Visit pages on this Platform that link to this Privacy Policy.

"Personal Data" means information that can identify you directly or indirectly. Some sections of this policy apply only to individuals in certain jurisdictions (for example, under GDPR/UK GDPR or U.S. state privacy laws).

1. What information we collect

A. Account data

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Password (stored as a hashed credential via Supabase Auth — we never see your plaintext password)
• Age verification or date of birth, if collected to enforce the 18+ requirement

B. Profile and community data

When you set up or update your profile, we may collect:

• Your chosen alias (display name on the Platform)
• Region or general location
• Connection intents — what kinds of connections you are open to on the Platform
• An anchor statement and practice lineage you choose to share
• Current-focus tags describing what you are working on
• Resonance trait data derived from your questionnaire responses, used to power the Platform's matching feature

C. Matchmaking and relationship preference data

If you choose to opt in to the intentional matching pathway — which includes the possibility of romantic or relationship-oriented connections — we collect additional preferences such as gender preference, age range, and distance. This data is collected only if you explicitly opt in. You may opt out at any time by updating your profile settings.

We treat this data as sensitive. In jurisdictions where romantic or relationship preference data is classified as a special category of personal data, we process it only on the basis of your explicit consent and use it solely for matching purposes within the Platform. It is not visible to other members unless there is mutual opt-in to the intentional pathway.

D. User-generated content

When you use the Platform, you may create content that we store on your behalf, including:

• Forum posts and thread replies in the Student Center
• Direct messages to other members
• Messages in the P.U.B. Commons chat room — these expire automatically after 24 hours and are not retained beyond that window
• Private study notes and highlights in the Library, visible only to you

E. Marketing consent

If you subscribe to email updates, we collect your email address and consent status. Email delivery is handled by Resend. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly.

F. Technical and usage data

We collect limited technical information through Supabase to operate and secure the Platform. This may include device and browser metadata, timestamps and basic activity events, error or diagnostic signals, and IP address and related security data.

G. What we do not collect

• No precise location data
• No contacts list or address book data
• No financial data — payment processing is handled entirely by third-party processors; we do not store card numbers or full payment credentials

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and provide access to the Platform
• To authenticate you and maintain security
• To power the matchmaking and resonance feature based on your profile and questionnaire data
• To operate the community forum, direct messaging, and chat room
• To deliver live video sessions via Daily.co
• To send service notifications and, where you have consented, marketing email via Resend
• To run automated content moderation to protect the community
• To improve Platform features and reliability
• To respond to support requests

3. AI processing disclosure

Manifesting University currently uses the Anthropic API (Claude) for two live features:

• AI mentor chatbot: When you submit a question in a mentor room, your message and relevant profile context are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response in the voice of the selected mentor (for example, Neville Goddard or Joseph Murphy). Responses are for educational and personal practice purposes only and are not professional advice of any kind.
• Automated content moderation: Messages you submit on community surfaces — including forum posts, Commons chat, and direct messages — may be reviewed by Anthropic's API to detect content that violates our community standard before the message is stored or delivered.

Message content processed through AI is transmitted to Anthropic in accordance with Anthropic's privacy and data handling practices. We do not use your Personal Data to train third-party AI models without your explicit permission.

4. Sub-processors and data sharing

We do not sell your Personal Data.

We share data with the following service providers, each authorized to process data only on our behalf and for the purposes described:

• Supabase — authentication, database hosting, and backend infrastructure. Account credentials, profile data, and user-generated content are stored here.
• Anthropic — AI processing for the mentor chatbot and automated content moderation, as described in §3.
• Daily.co — live video sessions. When you join a live session, your video and audio are processed by Daily.co subject to their privacy practices.
• Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery for users who have opted in to email communications.
• Payment processor (to be named at launch of paid tiers) — processing of subscription payments when paid tiers become available. We will identify the specific processor here before activating paid billing.

We may also share data where required by applicable law or legal process, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. User-to-user visibility

Other registered members may see your alias, region, and the profile details you have chosen to make visible. Matching overlap and connection status are visible to both parties once a mutual connection is formed.

Intentional or romantic matching preferences are not visible to other members unless there is mutual opt-in to the intentional pathway. No member can see that you have opted in to intentional matching unless you have mutually resonated with them.

Private study notes in the Library are visible only to you. Forum posts and thread replies are visible to other registered members of the Platform.

6. How we protect and store your data

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device and keeping your login credentials confidential.

Data is stored via Supabase and related infrastructure. It may be processed in the United States or other regions depending on infrastructure configuration.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain Personal Data and user content as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform. Certain data may be retained longer where required for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Commons chat messages expire automatically after 24 hours and are not recoverable after that period. Content moderation violation logs are retained indefinitely even when the original message was blocked or has since expired, as required to enforce the moderation policy.

You may request deletion of your account by emailing info@manifesting-it.com. Account deletion removes your profile and user-generated content subject to any applicable legal retention obligations.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

• Access your Personal Data
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion, subject to legal exceptions
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Request data portability
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, including opting out of intentional matchmaking at any time
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

9. Minors

Manifesting University requires users to be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user under 18 has created an account, we will terminate that account and delete the associated data promptly.

The intentional or romantic matching pathway is restricted to adult users. It is accessible only to users who have confirmed they are 18 or older.

10. Cookies and local storage

Manifesting University uses browser local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) for a small number of preference items, including whether you have seen the welcome splash screen, whether you have dismissed the ambient audio hint, and your audio playback preference. This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Supabase Auth uses a session cookie to keep you signed in between visits. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

11. International transfers

Your Personal Data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your place of residence, including the United States. Where required by applicable law, we apply appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

12. Aggregated and anonymized data

We may use aggregated or anonymized information that does not identify you to understand how the Platform is used and to improve its performance and features.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the Platform or by email to your registered address.
