Terms of Service — Manifesting University

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Manifesting University (the "Platform"), operated by Manifesting-IT, LLC ("Manifesting-IT," "we," "our," "us").

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Overview of the Platform

Manifesting University is a membership web platform offering study content drawn from the New Thought tradition, a community forum, an AI mentor chatbot, live video sessions, and a social space with optional matchmaking features. It is a web-based service; no download or installation is required.

The Platform is informational and educational. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical, psychological, or mental health condition. See §9 for the full results and wellbeing disclaimer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

The intentional and romantic matching pathway within the P.U.B. is restricted to adults and is accessible only to users who confirm they are 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account. If we discover a user is under 18, we will terminate their account.

3. Accounts and Access

A free account is required to use any feature of the Platform, including features that carry no charge. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your account is being misused or your use violates these Terms.

4. Service Description and Tiers

The Platform currently offers free access to all available buildings and features. Paid subscription tiers are planned for future release; pricing and specific feature allocations have not been finalized.

Existing access will be preserved. Features that are currently available to you at no charge are intended to remain accessible to you at no charge when paid tiers are introduced. We will provide advance notice before any change to the access level of features you currently use.

Some buildings and features are currently curtained (not yet available) and will be opened as the Platform develops. We do not guarantee the availability of any particular feature or building at any given time.

5. Acceptable Use and Community Conduct

All members are expected to follow the Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. The standard is simple: treat every person with kindness and respect. Zero tolerance applies to unkindness, sexual content, foul language, and threats or violence of any kind.

Violations are handled through a graduated moderation ladder: a first standard offense results in the message being blocked and a clear warning naming the rule broken; a second offense applies a 24-hour mute across all Platform surfaces; a third offense results in suspension pending human review. Critical violations (content involving minors, credible threats) result in immediate suspension on first detection. Content moderation is enforced server-side before messages are stored or delivered; blocked content is never seen by recipients.

You also agree not to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Infringe the rights of others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform
Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content from the Platform
Use the Platform for spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or harassment

6. User-Generated Content

The Platform allows you to post forum threads and replies, send direct messages, participate in the Commons chat room, and save private study notes ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.

By posting User Content, you grant Manifesting-IT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Platform and making it available to other authorized users. You represent that you have the right to post the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to moderate, hide, or remove User Content that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines. Commons chat messages expire automatically after 24 hours and are not recoverable after that period.

7. Messaging and Community Interactions

The Platform includes community features such as the Student Center forum, the P.U.B. (including the Commons chat room and the Discover and matchmaking features), and direct messaging. Your use of these features is subject to the Community Guidelines and these Terms.

Matchmaking and resonance. The Discover feature uses your profile and questionnaire data to suggest potential connections. Resonating with another member is a voluntary, consent-based action. A connection forms only when both members have resonated with each other. We make no guarantee of matches, relationships, or any particular outcome from using the matchmaking features.

Intentional and romantic pathway. The intentional matching option, which allows for romantic or relationship-oriented connections, is restricted to users who are 18 or older and have explicitly opted in. This pathway is mutual: neither party's preference is revealed to the other without mutual opt-in.

Member conduct. The Platform provides tools for members to connect; it does not control or guarantee the conduct of individual members. We are not responsible for any interactions, outcomes, or damages arising from member-to-member contact. You are responsible for your own safety and discretion in all interactions on the Platform.

DM scanning disclosure. As noted in our Privacy Policy, direct messages and other community messages are scanned by automated moderation (including AI classification) before delivery. This scanning is a condition of using the messaging features and is disclosed at signup.

8. AI Features

The Platform currently includes an AI mentor chatbot powered by Anthropic's Claude API. The chatbot is accessible in the Mentoring Center and responds in the voice of historical New Thought teachers (such as Neville Goddard and Joseph Murphy).

The mentor chatbot provides educational and personal practice guidance only. It is not professional medical, mental health, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Outputs may be imperfect, incomplete, or inconsistent with the historical record. Do not rely on chatbot responses for decisions requiring professional expertise.

Automated content moderation is also powered by Anthropic's API and runs server-side before messages are stored or delivered. See §5 and the Privacy Policy §3 for details.

9. Results and Wellbeing Disclaimer

The study content, library texts, courses, recorded talks, and practice materials on the Platform draw from the New Thought tradition and related disciplines. This content is provided for personal practice, reflection, and education. We make no guarantee of any particular outcome, result, or transformation from using the Platform or applying the techniques taught here.

Manifestation, prayer, and mental-science practices are matters of personal belief and experience. Nothing on the Platform constitutes medical, mental health, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and the Platform is not a substitute for professional care of any kind.

If you are experiencing distress, a mental health crisis, or any medical or safety concern, please seek help from a qualified professional. You use the Platform at your own discretion.

10. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid subscription tiers are planned for a future release but are not yet active. When paid tiers become available, payments will be processed through a web-based third-party payment processor. We will name the specific processor and publish updated billing terms before paid tiers are activated.

When subscriptions are introduced: subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date; refund eligibility will be stated in the billing terms at that time; failure to maintain payment may result in loss of access to paid features. Free features currently available to you are intended to remain free; see §4.

11. Intellectual Property and Content

The Platform, including its software, design, interfaces, original text, graphics, and branding, is owned by Manifesting-IT, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the Platform does not grant you ownership rights in any Platform content or software.

Access to library texts, recorded talks, courses, and reference works is also governed by the Content License and Use of Materials, which you should read alongside these Terms.

12. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with and links to third-party services including the Bookstore at shop.manifesting-it.com (operated via Shopify), the Manifesting-IT blog, and third-party infrastructure providers described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, or security of third-party services. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you violate these Terms, your use poses risk to the Platform or other members, or we discontinue the Platform. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Account deletion requests can be sent to info@manifesting-it.com.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANIFESTING-IT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, SPECIFIC OUTCOMES, OR THE ACCURACY OF ANY CONTENT, INCLUDING AI-GENERATED RESPONSES.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANIFESTING-IT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF ACCESS, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM MEMBER-TO-MEMBER INTERACTIONS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU (IF ANY) FOR THE PLATFORM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the Platform or by email to your registered address. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
